Publishing

The media team at Quantum Communications includes some of the country’s most senior journalists.

A key part of Quantum’s media offering is our ability to write, edit, and successfully place impactful comment pieces and op-eds in national newspapers.

We have excellent relationships with comment editors, and our team brings unrivalled frontline experience and inside knowledge of working within the media. We know exactly what makes a compelling opinion article, and can guide you through the process from drafting to publication, ensuring that you deliver your message to maximum effect.

In 2021, we also successfully launched 1919 Magazine, Scotland’s first dedicated current affairs magazine in more than two decades. Covering justice and social affairs issues, it is a free digital magazine containing in-depth interviews, features, and exclusive news stories on topics such as policing, crime, politics, and public policy.

1919 provides opportunities for freelance reporters and photographers, helping to boost Scotland’s successful media industry through greater investment in quality journalism. The publication has been shortlisted for several national awards and has been regularly referenced by outlets including the BBC and in First Minister’s Questions.

If you are looking to shape the narrative on an issue, raise awareness about something you are passionate about, or position your organisation as a trusted authority, we can support you every step of the way.
